The founder
Chad Butler
Chad Butler is the founder of Mission InfoSec, an organization focused on helping companies build demonstrably secure products while making serious security training affordable for the next generation of professionals.
Chad brings 23 years of information security experience, including security leadership roles at Amazon, Disney, and SAP. He has built five product and information security programs from the ground up, with firsthand knowledge of what it takes to scale them.
He has taught courses for the SANS Institute on penetration testing and secure development, and created and delivered training for ISACA and private organizations. His Career Hacking Quest program has reached over 1,200 students across more than 90 countries.
Outside of work, Chad enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his family.
