What is Mission InfoSec?
Mission InfoSec helps companies build demonstrably secure products through developer-centric training, pipeline automation, and security advisory. It's the practice of Chad Butler, who brings 23 years of information security experience, including leadership roles at Amazon, Disney, and SAP.
What is The Product Security Playbook?
It's our newsletter for security and engineering leaders. Each issue breaks down a product security topic, an AppSec or DevSecOps practice, an AI security risk, or a leadership lesson, with practical guidance you can act on. You can read the full archive and subscribe from the Newsletter page.
What services do you offer?
Services run on two tracks. BUILD is the hands-on work: CI/CD security automation, DevSecOps consulting, AI secure development, offensive testing and remediation, and team training. LEAD is the strategic work: leadership advisory, executive coaching, and virtual CISO or fractional security leadership.
Who do you work with?
We work with product and engineering organizations that need to ship secure software, from teams writing and shipping code to the leaders accountable for product security. Training is designed around real developer workflows so it applies immediately.
What courses are available?
DevSecOps Pro is our in-depth course for engineers and security professionals building security into the pipeline. Career Hacking Quest helps emerging professionals break into and advance in security, and has reached over 1,200 students across more than 90 countries. Both are linked from the Courses menu.
How is your training different?
It's developer-centric, customized and actionable, comprehensive across AI and cloud security, and hands-on. Sessions are tailored to your organization and built around real-world scenarios and interactive exercises rather than generic theory.
