These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites operated by CDB SECURITY LLC, doing business as Mission InfoSec ("Mission InfoSec," "we," "us," or "our"), including www.missioninfosec.com and academy.missioninfosec.com (collectively, the "sites"). By accessing or using our sites, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our sites.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age to use our sites. By using our sites, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Use of the Sites
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our sites for your personal, non-commercial information and for legitimate business inquiries. You agree not to:
- Use the sites in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the sites, related systems, or networks
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the sites, including by introducing malware or conducting automated scraping without our prior written consent

3. Intellectual Property
All content on our sites, including text, articles, newsletters, graphics, logos, course materials, and software, is the property of CDB SECURITY LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. The Mission InfoSec name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of CDB SECURITY LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them without our prior written permission.
You may share links to our published articles and newsletter issues, and may quote brief excerpts with attribution, provided you do not present the content as your own or use it in a misleading manner.
4. Newsletter and Communications
When you subscribe to The Product Security Playbook or otherwise opt in to communications, you consent to receive emails from us. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any commercial email. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Products, Courses, and Purchases
Certain products, courses, and services, including DevSecOps Pro and Career Hacking Quest, may be sold, hosted, or delivered through third-party platforms. Purchases made through those platforms are subject to the terms, pricing, and refund policies presented at the point of sale, in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party platforms.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
Our sites contain links to third-party websites, embedded forms, scheduling tools, and services that we do not own or control. We provide these links and integrations for your convenience and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that party's terms.
7. No Professional or Legal Advice
The content on our sites, including newsletter articles and other materials, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, compliance, financial, or professional security advice, and it does not create a consultant-client or advisory relationship. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the sites shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100.00).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CDB SECURITY LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the sites or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the sites shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Arizona.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the sites after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
